How to withdraw from a crypto casino

Withdrawing from a crypto casino is usually fast once the casino approves it, but identity checks, playthrough rules and bonus wagering decide when that approval comes. This guide covers the steps, the rules at nine casinos and the usual reasons for delays.

How to withdraw from a crypto casino

How a crypto withdrawal works

A withdrawal is a deposit in reverse. You give the casino an address, the casino sends coins from its wallet to yours on the blockchain, and the transfer confirms like any other.

The difference is that the casino decides when to send. Before it broadcasts the transaction, it checks your account against its rules: identity verification, any deposit playthrough, active bonuses, and risk or fraud checks. Most delays happen at this step, not on the blockchain.

That is why it makes sense to read the withdrawal rules before you deposit. This isn't legal or tax advice, and winnings may have tax consequences where you live, so check your local rules.

Step by step

  1. Finish or forfeit any active bonus. Check the bonus page for remaining wagering.
  2. Open the cashier and choose Withdraw.
  3. Pick the coin and network. Choose one your own wallet supports, and preferably one with low fees.
  4. Paste your own address from your wallet's Receive screen. If you are withdrawing to an exchange that uses a tag or memo, include it.
  5. Enter the amount, noting any minimum withdrawal and the fee shown.
  6. Confirm with two-factor authentication or an email link.
  7. Wait for approval, then for the blockchain transfer. The cashier usually shows a transaction ID once sent, which you can look up on a block explorer.

For your first withdrawal at a new casino, a small test amount is a good way to learn the process before you move a larger balance.

Processing time vs blockchain time

Two separate clocks run on every withdrawal.

Processing time is how long the casino takes to approve and send. Many crypto casinos process routine withdrawals automatically in minutes. A manual review, a KYC request, a large amount or a flagged account can push that to hours or days.

Blockchain time is how long the transfer takes once sent, and depends on the coin: often under a minute on Solana, TRON or XRP, a few minutes on Ethereum, and roughly 10 minutes to an hour on Bitcoin. Your wallet may also wait for confirmations before showing the balance as available.

Where the waiting happens Request Casino processing checks: KYC, playthrough, bonus, risk Blockchain confirmations Wallet minutes if automatic hours to days if reviewed seconds (SOL, TRX, XRP) to about 1 hour (BTC) Most delays sit in the first bar, and the casino's rules decide its length.
A withdrawal spends time in two places: the casino's approval process and the blockchain transfer. Times vary by casino, coin and network load.

KYC: when identity checks apply

KYC (know your customer) means verifying who you are, usually with an ID document and sometimes proof of address or source of funds. Crypto casinos differ widely on when they ask.

  • Required before any withdrawal: Duel requires KYC for any withdrawal.
  • Required at a basic level: Shuffle requires Level 1 verification.
  • None for crypto: Rainbet lists no KYC for crypto withdrawals.
  • Optional: Gamdom lists KYC as optional.
  • On request: Stake, Roobet, BC.Game, Coins.Game and Thrill can ask for documents when their checks call for it, for example for a large withdrawal, unusual activity, or a regulatory requirement.

"On request" or "none" does not mean never. Any licensed casino can ask for documents if its compliance rules require it. Provide accurate information and never try to dodge a check with someone else's documents, a VPN or a false location. That can lead to a closed account and confiscated winnings.

Deposit playthrough and bonus wagering

1× deposit playthrough

Some casinos require you to wager your deposit once before withdrawing it. This is an anti-money-laundering rule meant to stop the cashier being used to move money without playing. In our data, Roobet and Gamdom list a 1× deposit (AML) rule, and Thrill lists 1× deposit.

In practice, if you deposit $100 you need to place $100 of bets before withdrawing. Winnings and losses along the way do not change the target.

Bonus wagering

A deposit match bonus adds a separate, usually much larger requirement. Shuffle's welcome offer, for example, needs 35× deposit + bonus before bonus funds can be withdrawn. While a bonus is active, a withdrawal request may be blocked or may cancel the bonus and any winnings tied to it. Read wagering requirements explained and use the wagering calculator to see how much play a bonus really needs.

Rakeback is usually simpler. Stake's rakeback has no wagering requirement, and Duel lists no wagering on its code, so rakeback credited to your balance can typically be withdrawn like any other balance. See what is rakeback for how it is calculated.

Read the KYC and wagering rules before your first deposit. A withdrawal that is blocked by a rule you already agreed to cannot be sped up by support.

KYC and wagering at the nine casinos

Casino KYC policy Wagering rule Rakeback
Stake On request None on rakeback 3.5% of house edge
Shuffle Level 1 required 35× deposit + bonus 5% of house edge
Rainbet None for crypto 40× or none +20% rakeback boost for 72h
Roobet On request 1× deposit (AML) Undisclosed %
Gamdom Optional 1× deposit (AML) 15% for 7 days (intro)
BC.Game On request ≈500× effective ($1 unlocked per $500 wagered) 5–15% of house edge
Coins.Game On request None on free spin wins 10–30% by VIP level
Duel Required for any withdrawal None 50% of house edge, flat
Thrill On request 1× deposit Up to 70% of house edge

Fees

You can pay two kinds of fee on a withdrawal:

  • The network fee to move the coin, which varies by coin and network load. Low-fee networks such as Litecoin, Solana, TRON or XRP usually cost cents or less; Bitcoin and Ethereum tokens usually cost more.
  • A casino withdrawal fee, which some casinos charge as a flat amount per coin, or fold into the network fee they quote.

The cashier shows the fee before you confirm. If you are withdrawing a small amount, the coin you pick can make a real difference. Best crypto for gambling compares typical fees and confirmation times.

Withdrawing to an exchange or your own wallet

You can send a withdrawal to a self-custody wallet or straight to an exchange deposit address. Each has trade-offs.

To your own wallet

Sending to a wallet you control is the most direct route. You only need to match the coin and network, and there is no tag or memo for most wallets. It also keeps casino activity separate from your exchange account. From there you can hold the coins or move them on later.

To an exchange

Sending to an exchange is convenient if you plan to convert to your local currency, but check three things first. The exchange must support the coin on the network the casino sends on. Some exchanges need a tag or memo for XRP and certain other coins. And some exchanges restrict or review incoming transfers from gambling sites under their terms, which can add its own delay.

Either way, save the address in the casino's withdrawal address book if it has one, so you are not pasting it fresh each time, and recheck it whenever you change wallets. Crypto wallets for gambling covers address formats and networks in more detail.

Common reasons withdrawals are delayed

  • KYC requested or incomplete. The withdrawal waits until documents are approved.
  • Deposit not yet wagered where a 1× playthrough applies.
  • Active bonus with wagering still to complete.
  • Deposit still confirming. Some casinos hold withdrawals until recent deposits have enough confirmations.
  • Large amount. Bigger withdrawals are more likely to go to manual review.
  • Changed details. A new withdrawal address, new device or password reset can trigger a short security hold.
  • Network congestion. A busy Bitcoin or Ethereum network slows the blockchain part.
  • Wrong network or missing tag. Sending to an exchange address that needs a memo, without it, can leave funds stuck at the exchange.
  • Restricted country or terms breach. Playing from a restricted country, or with multiple accounts, can lead to a withheld withdrawal.

If a withdrawal shows as sent, look up the transaction ID on a block explorer before contacting support. If it is still pending at the casino, ask support through the official live chat what is outstanding.

Before you hit withdraw

  • Check that no bonus is active, or that you are happy to forfeit it.
  • Confirm your deposit playthrough is complete if the casino has one.
  • Have your ID ready if the casino requires KYC.
  • Copy your own address fresh and match the network.
  • Include a tag or memo if withdrawing to an exchange that needs one.
  • Consider withdrawing winnings regularly rather than leaving them in a casino account, which is custodial.

FAQ

How long does a crypto casino withdrawal take?

Two parts add up: the casino's processing, which can be instant or take hours or longer if a review is triggered, and the blockchain transfer, which ranges from seconds to about an hour depending on the coin.

Why do I have to wager my deposit before withdrawing?

Some casinos require you to wager your deposit once (1×) before withdrawing, as an anti-money-laundering rule. Roobet, Gamdom and Thrill list this rule in our data.

Will I need to verify my identity to withdraw?

It depends on the casino. Duel requires KYC for any withdrawal and Shuffle requires Level 1, while others ask on request, for example for large amounts or account reviews.

Can I withdraw while a bonus is active?

Usually not without losing the bonus. Bonus funds, and sometimes winnings from them, are locked until the wagering requirement is met, and withdrawing early may forfeit them.
