Licences explained

A gambling licence means the operator registered with a regulator, passed its checks and agreed to rules on fairness, anti-money-laundering and complaints. It gives you somewhere to escalate a dispute the casino will not resolve.

It does not make the casino legal where you live, and it does not guarantee good bonus terms. A Curaçao licence lets the operator run its business under that regulator's rules; your own country's law still applies to you. Red flags at any crypto casino

Crypto payments are final, so it pays to spot trouble before you deposit rather than after. Walk away if you see any of these.

• A look-alike domain or a link from a stranger. Reach casinos by typing the address or using your own bookmark.

• Support asking for your wallet seed phrase or private key. No legitimate casino ever needs it.
• A request to deposit more before a withdrawal can be released.
• Advice to use a VPN to get around a country block, which breaks the terms and can cost you the balance.
