How to deposit crypto at a casino
A crypto casino deposit is a normal blockchain transfer to an address the casino gives you. Getting it right comes down to the coin, the network, the minimum and the promo code, in that order.

Before you start
A deposit takes a few minutes once you know the steps, but a few checks beforehand save most of the problems people run into:
- Gambling is permitted where you live and the casino accepts players from your country. Check your local law and the casino's terms; this isn't legal advice.
- You have the coin on the right network, plus a little of the network's fee coin if you are sending a token like USDT.
- You have picked your promo code, because most codes must be entered at signup, before the first deposit.
- You know the casino's minimum for the coin and for any bonus.
If you do not own crypto yet, start with how to buy crypto for gambling.
Where the promo code goes
The promo code is the step people most often get wrong, because it comes first. At most crypto casinos the code goes into a "promo code", "referral code" or "offer code" field on the registration form. Some casinos fill it automatically when you arrive through a link that carries the code. Once the account exists, the field is usually gone.
Deposit match bonuses can have a second step: you may need to choose or activate the bonus in the cashier before sending the qualifying deposit, and the deposit may need to meet a bonus minimum. Shuffle, for example, needs $20 for the bonus, with wagering of 35× deposit + bonus.
Rakeback codes work differently. Stake's GETRAKEBACK and Duel's MAXRB attach rakeback to the account, so there is nothing extra to activate at deposit. Compare offers on the crypto casino bonus hub and check what a bonus really needs with the wagering calculator.
Step by step
- Sign up with your promo code in the registration form, and confirm your email if asked.
- Turn on two-factor authentication in the account settings.
- Open the cashier (often labelled Wallet or Deposit) and choose Deposit.
- Select the coin, then the network. For USDT you will typically see options such as TRC20 (TRON) or ERC20 (Ethereum).
- Copy the deposit address with the copy button or scan the QR code. For XRP, also copy the destination tag.
- Open your wallet or exchange, choose Send or Withdraw, select the same coin and the same network, and paste the address.
- Enter the amount, keeping it above the casino's minimum after any fee is taken.
- Check the address by comparing the first and last several characters, then confirm.
- Wait for confirmations. The cashier usually shows the deposit as pending, then credited.
Choosing the right network
The cashier lists each coin with a network label. That label is the instruction you must follow on the sending side. If the cashier says USDT (TRC20), choose TRON in your wallet. If it says USDT (ERC20), choose Ethereum.
Things that go wrong here:
- Look-alike addresses. An Ethereum-style
0xaddress is also valid on BNB Smart Chain and other EVM chains, so your wallet will not warn you if you pick the wrong one. - Exchange defaults. Exchanges sometimes pre-select a network for withdrawals. Change it to match the cashier.
- Wrapped coins. Bitcoin on another chain is not native BTC, and a native BTC address will not receive it.

Copy the coin, the network and the address from the cashier every time. The blockchain will happily deliver a transfer the casino cannot see.
Minimums at the nine casinos
Each casino sets a minimum deposit, and bonuses can have a separate, higher minimum. On top of that, every transfer pays a network fee, and an exchange may charge its own withdrawal fee. Make sure the amount that arrives is above the minimum.

Confirmations and timing
A blockchain transaction is "confirmed" once it is included in a block, and each new block on top adds another confirmation. Casinos wait for a set number before crediting your balance, because recent transactions can in rare cases be reorganised out of the chain.
Typical waits:
- Solana, XRP, TRON: usually under a minute to a few minutes.
- Ethereum and ERC20 tokens: usually a few minutes.
- Litecoin and Dogecoin: usually 5 to 30 minutes.
- Bitcoin: usually 10 minutes to an hour, longer when the network is busy or the fee was set low.
These are ranges, not promises. Some casinos also show a deposit as credited but hold it from withdrawal until more confirmations arrive.
If a deposit doesn't show
Most "missing" deposits are just waiting for confirmations. Work through this in order:
1. Find the transaction
In your wallet or exchange history, open the transaction and copy its transaction ID (TxID or hash). Paste it into a block explorer for that network. Check the status, the receiving address and the network.
2. Check the confirmations
If the transaction is still pending or has fewer confirmations than the casino needs, wait. A Bitcoin transfer with a low fee can sit unconfirmed for a while when the network is busy.
3. Compare the details
- Does the receiving address exactly match the one in the cashier?
- Was it sent on the network the cashier listed?
- Did you include the destination tag or memo, if one was shown?
- Was the amount, after fees, above the minimum?
4. Contact support
If the transaction is confirmed and the details look right, or if you spot a mistake, contact the casino through its official live chat or help page. Give the coin, network, amount, time and transaction ID. Some wrong-network or missing-tag deposits can be recovered manually, sometimes for a fee; others cannot. Never share your seed phrase or private key with anyone offering help.
Your balance after the deposit
Once credited, your balance is held in the coin you sent, although many casinos display it in US dollars or another currency. If you deposited Bitcoin, Litecoin or another non-stable coin, that displayed value moves with the market even when you are not playing. A USDT deposit stays close to its dollar value.
Some casinos let you play in one currency while holding another, converting at their own rate. If that matters to you, check the conversion terms in the cashier or help pages, since the rate can include a small margin.
A few practical points:
- Start small. A first deposit of a modest amount tests the whole route, from exchange to wallet to casino, before you commit more.
- Write down the transaction ID for each deposit, at least until it is credited. It is the first thing support will ask for.
- Set a deposit limit in the account settings if the casino offers one. Crypto deposits are quick, and a limit you set in advance is easier to keep than a decision made mid-session.
- Check the bonus status if you claimed one. The cashier or bonus page usually shows the wagering progress and anything that is locked.
A rakeback calculator is a quick way to see what a rakeback code returns on the amount you plan to wager, and the crypto casino rakeback hub compares rates across casinos.
Mistakes to avoid
- Entering the promo code after signup, when the field is gone.
- Sending on a different network from the one the cashier lists.
- Leaving out the XRP destination tag.
- Sending an amount that falls below the minimum after fees.
- Sending from an exchange that restricts gambling transfers in its terms.
- Depositing more than you planned because the process is quick.
Before your first deposit, it is also worth knowing how to get money back out. Read how crypto casino withdrawals work so that identity checks or playthrough rules do not surprise you, and set a deposit limit in the casino's account settings if it offers one.
FAQ
How long does a crypto casino deposit take?
It depends on the coin and the casino's confirmation rule. Fast networks like Solana, TRON and XRP often credit within a minute or two, while Bitcoin can take from about 10 minutes to an hour.
Can I add a promo code after I deposit?
Usually not. Most crypto casinos take the promo or referral code at signup, and deposit bonuses often need to be activated before the qualifying deposit. Enter the code first.
What if I deposit less than the minimum?
A deposit below the minimum may not be credited, or may not qualify for a bonus. Check the cashier's minimum before sending, and contact support with your transaction ID if it happens.
Can I reuse a casino deposit address?
Many casinos keep a fixed deposit address per coin for your account, but some rotate them. Always copy the address fresh from the cashier before each deposit.
